It’s an art and design garden where I have been observing, growing, contemplating and striving to comprehend plants, and everything plant-related, since 2016. It changes continually with the seasons and with adjustments that I make.
Perched at an altitude of 590 metres, in a lush landscape of the Alsatian Jura, it covers a little over 3,000 sq. metres. It’s a garden inspired by nature gardens, forest gardens (food-producing) and Japanese and English gardens.
The garden has over 1,000 varieties of plants, some of which are quite rare. It is structured in interconnected spaces linked by pathways, with a theme for each area: a shade garden, grass garden, white garden, fire garden, kitchen garden, a food-producing area, a Japanese garden, and more.
Each garden is managed with a very intensive ecological approach. This includes caring for the soil, pruning reasonably, using recycled and/or untreated materials, etc.
