Exceptionally well-preserved, the Parc de Wesserling – Écomusée Textile (Wesserling Park – Textile Ecomuseum) is one of the few European industrial sites capable of taking visitors on a journey through three centuries of textile history, from the 18th to the 21st century.

Spanning nearly 42 hectares and over 100,000 m² of buildings, the site boasts an exceptional heritage: the Manufacturers' Castle, a 19th-century farmhouse, impressive, fully preserved factories, and five gardens designated as Jardin Remarquables (Remarkable Gardens).

Where most major factories have disappeared, Wesserling is being reborn as a vibrant site, thanks to the inventive reuse of its buildings. Businesses, designers, retailers, and artists are joining forces at this large site to create a major activity zone. It is a veritable factory town where the renovated buildings and those still in use offer a glimpse into one of Alsace's greatest textile histories. Around fifteen events also bring the Park to life throughout the year.

At the heart of the site, the remarkable gardens flourish in a poetic and creative festival which, this year, revisits the world of Ulysses. Between artistic installations, verdant settings, and scenographic surprises, a stroll becomes a true adventure.

And starting in 2026, the Park unveils its major new feature: the opening of the ecomuseum circuit, a one-kilometer-long interactive trail inspired by the concept of living museums. From the castle to the gardens, passing through the old factories, the farm, the Great Boiler Room, and the laboratory, visitors experience a 250-year saga through original presentations, colorful characters, immersive settings, and sensory spaces that bring history to life in a fun and engaging way for young and old alike.
