Description

The rose garden was created in 1926 by a group of railway workers and workers at companies in the city of Schiltigheim. This pretty garden, tucked inside of Rose Garden Park, was designed by the head gardener of L’Orangerie Park in Strasbourg, and it was laid out as a French formal garden. It features some 200 rose varieties. The care, management and event planning of the Rose Garden of Schiltigheim are carried out by the members of the association called “Les Amis des Roses Schiltigheim – Strasbourg”.
