The Zen Garden is the first area encountered by visitors.. The pathway leads them to the “Moon Door” and, beyond it, the pond. Next, visitors walk by part of the collection of hostas, and then the English garden with its numerous plants, including hostas, ferns, dogwood shrubs, rose bushes, maple trees, peonies and more. There are several benches where visitors can rest and appreciate the peace and quiet of the garden.
