In the 80s, we bought a plot of land: a former tobacco field measuring 3,200 sq. metres. The house was built and a very conventional garden was put in: a few fruit trees, a vegetable garden and, for the rest, a lawn.
Finally, in the early 2000s, we began wanting to change the garden. We visited exhibitions and gardens, and over the years, the conventional garden became a living work of art. This garden makes us so happy! Of course, it’s the result of hard work, constant upkeep and a lot of love, but it’s all been worth it. As we like to say, we’re just “tenants”, because the real inhabitants are the birds, bugs, chickens, ducks, fish, hedgehogs, frogs and other creatures.
