Jardin des Deux Rives

Strasbourg

Rue des Cavaliers – 67000 STRASBOURG

Description

The Jardin des Deux Rives is a cross-border park, designed by the German landscaper Rüdiger Brosk, built in 2004 on both sides of the Rhine, between Strasbourg and Kehl.
The two banks are connected by a bridge for pedestrians and cyclists, designed by Marc Mimram. This central feature of the garden embodies the strength of the ties between France and Germany. It’s a pleasant place to stroll and take in clear views of the Rhine, the playgrounds, the gardens of wonder, ephemeral gardens and artworks.
New perennials have been planted for the 20th anniversary of the Jardin des Deux Rives, on both the German and French sides.
