The “A l’ombre du château” Garden, located behind the castle of Thanvillé (Vallée de Villé), was created in 2011 by Jacques Couturieux, designer of the Garden of Callunes.
“A l’ombre du château” is a botanical garden. Several perennial beds and shrubbery embellish a series of ponds.
This variety of plants and refreshing water features are integrated harmoniously into the natural landscape of the site.
Since 2023, an exhibition of large photographs, called “Open-Air Biodiversity”, has been held in the garden.
