Located in the grounds of Thanvillé Castle, this garden is a harmonious landscaped space offering perspectives of movement and color. The omnipresent water feeds three charming ponds, bringing aquatic freshness to the garden where water lilies, frogs, and other freshwater inhabitants thrive in a magical atmosphere. Its gentle, grassy paths invite relaxation, and its flowerbeds delight the eye.
Since 2023, a magnificent photo exhibition entitled "Biodiversity in the Open Air" has been on display in this garden! One hundred and sixty large-format photographs taken by renowned photographers from the Grand Est region, including Vincent Munier, invite you to explore Mother Nature, her fauna, flora, and landscapes. They encourage you to protect our planet and its precious biodiversity. The AOC (A l'ombre du château - In the Shadow of the Castle) association manages the Lilaveronica garden and maintains this beautiful green haven. She also staffs the garden on the days it is open to the public.
Group visits and educational workshops for schoolchildren are available outside of regular opening hours and days.
